| I've decided on going Bp with my assist (since it's easier to go unfunded as a Bp than with an AoE RM or so it seems).
So, I started distributing stats, and I was wondering if the 43 DEX is worth it (to reach speed break) Or should I go full STR?
Opinions appreciated.

| Full str is not advisable till higher levels when you have the equips nessacry to reach the proper speed breaks. 43 dex is what you should be shooting for because with maxed cannon and haste you will easily hit 81% attack speed which is good enough to stun lock the mobs into submission (get stonehand to lvl 19 when possible too).
The best build for a BP (If you are a little strapped for cash) is known as the cookie cutter build which basically is: 15int 43dex 15-30sta (depending on what you are most comfortable with) xxx str
Its a good, cheap build which I would definitely advise you use if you want to make a little money since its a very good gianting character.
You also don't need the gknuck to lvl with this build, which is nice since they are so expensive. A yaka (forget the full name) knuck is fine, which is the lvl 60 CW knuckle. If you can I would also suggest getting a talin set at lvl 30 and sticking with it for a while. The crit rate it adds is useful till lvl 75 (I'm still using at lvl 73 and its works very well with this build)

| EWW another BP.
God I swear there are about 2 BP's to every other class combined.
AoE RM's are cool. If funded well D: |

AoE RM's are cool. If funded well D: Well, they're common because they're a safe choice for those new to the game, so that's why there's so many of them. Plus they're rather versatile since you can 1v1, or AOE -- and even with AOE you'll have options. @ OP: Trix's post is spot on, full strength isn't good from the start since you'll be hurting in the hit rate category til lvl 90. The 43 dex cookie cutter build will be sufficient for grinding, gianting, pvp... it's not the zomgbbq pwnzor build, but it's rather good pre 90.

| Thanks for the info Trix, much appreciated. About how much does Talin usually run? I was thinking that I would get it, but I don't know that I have the coin to do so. - FunkyRawr wrote:

| A full clean Talin set shouldnt anymore than 30m. Like 15m or less since it isnt a very popular set /mainstreamsheep |

| Bah double Post >_<
Well hopefully u can get a talin set for 10-15m, but Trix has to confirm that.
Atm you could farm some mobs for the questies needed for the current event, theres 3 days left to do that I think. And at lvl 58+ you can farm black otems for suns etc. then mushelizer.
Before lvl 60 its hard to get money though ;__; |

I have to say I'm leveling fairly well post 90 with the build too. Since a certain partner of mine refuses to AoE You dont mean Emily should go AoE blade? she hates them as do I and most people who dont want to butcher a class into something they are sub-par at. Trix might be selling his Talin set soon, maybe. |

| I think it might be a while before I get Talin, since I'm only 25 atm and I haven't seen too many people buying up the event questies while I'm on... but I'll definitely look into it once I'm not poor. | |

| Well theres usually people running around trying to buy the questies, but then alot of them farm them tmeselves D: Hopefully you find like a flury suit or something and sell it. At your lvl, or when youre a bit higher, you could possible kill the Vice Vedeques in Mas Mine, they drop some banana thing which are selling for about 10m each atm, for the event. If thats possible, thats a good thing to do to get some extra funding and cash in the event |

| Funded properly and played well, an aoe blade can be a rather efficient class. It would almost require her to use axes tho, and that's never going to happen.
To the OP - don't bust your balls getting a talin. It's a nice set to have, but personally I went with NPC gear, switched to CW suit and helm, and wore that till low 80's.

I hate AoE blades. 'Nuff said. Lol yes axes is the biggest obstacle.
Id say if you followed most money making tactics up til lvl 60 or so, you could get your talin by 65 easy. |

| Get it by 65 and stop using it at 75? At that point save your penyas for a good Ales set and an H knuckle. | |

| Getting talin shouldn't be so difficult. The suit at most costs 5 mil (I've seen lower), and the helm, boots, and gauntlets sell for 50k-100k (maybe more, but level 30 set pieces shouldn't sell for more than 100k -.- ).
Talin + Hknuck = <3 btw :3

| I meant that if he really wanted it, because it doesnt look like he will have the 5-15m or so to get it before that. Just CS whore 50$ and youll be rather rich. |

| Cookie cutter bp build assist won't have any problems making money, actually - but I understand the point you are making too. And stop encouraging people to CS for penyas | |

| I just can't see spending $50 hard earned dollars on a game... especially considering the fact that I only make $10 an hour right now. I mean really, five hours of work for it? I think not. Kudos to Gala for making a fun game... but I kinda hate them for trying to steal my dollars. | |
