Apparently the mushpoie server specifically has been messed up royally.

Seems our characters have been taken down for a bit (not completely deleted) to correct some problem. Theres a lot of interesting stuff about it in the above posted thread. I tried to access my characters through the Cash Shop earlier to look into it, and I can't find any evidence of my characters through there pale

. This is just a heads up though to expect some rollback and quite possibly an event or two in the future to correct it

Don't p!ss off a guy who works with boiling oil on a daily basis . . .

I couldn't see any clue as to what had happened, but I bet it was someone trying to hack.

The only significant thing I've done in the last couple of days is finish collecting bl00dy dumptyres.

Reading that thread, it isn't just Mush. Other servers are stuffed as well.

I think the hack/fault caused problems with people characters (like duplicates, or empty inventories), so they had to delete ALL characters and restore from offline backup. I used to run big servers/IT rooms, it takes quite a long time do this sort of rollback.

So how far back will we be rolled? I hope not too far, I sold a bunch of stuff and made 8m this week.

Will a 2x exp event for a week compensate for the hassle? It would do for me, but other people?
